/SPARTA/ goes to CoD2x!

As I have noticed over the last few days and weeks, we have become very active again in the development of our servers. We have also realized that CoD2x is the future of Call of Duty 2, for this reason we also want to convert all our servers to CoD2x and hope that this will also get rid of all the cheaters. CoD2x has so many great features, I think everyone here has heard of it. But the installation is not automatic, you have to do a little something manually to connect to a CoD2x server. Of course it's not an art, only one file has to be exchanged from the game directory. We have of course written our own instructions for this.

If you haven't heard of CoD2x yet, feel free to ask us your questions and we will be happy to answer them in a separate message.

It is not yet clear when we will be changing over. But it probably won't be long now.

Download the correct file

Here you will receive the files you need to install CoD2x. This process only takes a few moments.

After the download you will receive the following file:

CoD2x_1.4.4.3_windows.zip

This file must simply be unpacked, either with a program such as 7zip, WinZip, WinRar or with the normal Windows program.

Once you have unzipped the file, you will see the following contents of the file:

• mss.32.dll
• mss32_original.dll
• CoD2x Installation and uninstallation manual.txt

Now you simply have to replace the file “mss32.dll” in your game directory. Copy the file “mss32.dll” and replace it with the original one in the game directory. So that you can go back at any time, the original game file has been included in the package, it is called “mss32_original.dll”. In this case, delete the previously copied file and replace it with the original file, don't forget, you must rename the file in this case from “mss32_original.dll” to “mss32.dll”.

That's it, as soon as you have added the file “mss32.dll” from the zip archive to your game directory and replaced the old file, you can already use CoD2x. Of course you can also continue to use normal Call of Duty 2 1.3 servers, both are possible.

As you can see, the developer has also written instructions and added them to the zip archive.
