Where did today's problems come from?
Well the cause could be found quickly, the new mod could be identified as the source of the error. Here you have to differentiate between our work on the mod and the work of the creator (basis zPAM 3.22). This mod brings unfortunately numerous problems with itself, whereby we are not sure whether the creator is aware of it. The new mod messes up a lot, many basic elements simply do not work or do not work reliably. Of course, if there are problems here, it always affects our scripts. This instability is the reason for today's problems. From the logfile we were able to identify the problems and are already working on a fix.
As it always comes, everything comes at once. At the same time, we became victims of a new type of DDoS attacks, at least a new type that has attacked us so far. The hoster took immediate action and adjusted the firewall so that the attacks fizzled out quickly in the end and the servers were able to resume operation quickly and without the previous problems.
We apologize for the disruption of our service and hope that these problems will not occur again.
